Pallet Strapping Kits

Strapping is also known as bundling or banding and is widely used within the packaging, logistics, distribution, fulfilment, building and construction industries. It offers several options to secure products for handling and distribution. Seen in most busy warehouse environments strapping cartons, pallets, boxes and packages for dispatch or storage. When it is important for you to secure and stack with stability, strapping is perfect for your needs as it handles large, bulky and heavy items easily, whether being sent using road, sea or air freight.

How to apply hand pallet strapping to pallets, cartons and parcels:

Option 1

Use hand strapping tools.

You will need either a tensioner and a sealer tool or a combination tool. (Which is a combination of a tensioner and sealer tool.)

You will need 12x25mm semi open metal seals to bind the strapping.

Option 2

The old fashioned way.

By using metal buckles or plastic buckles and doing it by hand.

All of the tools are detailed below so here is a quick explanation of each tools function:

• Hand Sealing Tool: Used for obtaining a strong seal when used with steel seals. All you have to do is place the seal over the strapping apply tension and then crimp the seal in place. This makes sure you get a tight seal every time and that the strapping stays tense and secure.
• Hand Tensioner Tool: Used to get maximum tension on the strapping which improves the stability of your loads. All you have to do is feed the strapping through and push the handle down to tension the strapping.
• Dispensing Trolley with Storage Tray: Makes it easy and safe to move your strapping tools to where they need to be. It has the added benefit of having all of your strapping items in one place and to hand when you need them.
• Combination Tool: The combi tool performs all of the functions needed in one tool to strap items; it tensions and seals.
